The following charges for OU researchers have been approved by the Chemistry & Biochemistry Faculty Macromolecular Crystallography Laboratory (MCL) Oversight Committee. Crystallization Lab Fees

The charges for the crystallization lab cover the cost of materials.
Standard screen in a 96 well sitting/hanging single drop format as done by the Mosquito - $40.00. 
Standard screen in a 96 well sitting/hanging two drop format as done by the Mosquito - $45.00.
 Standard screen in a 24 well sitting/hanging drop format - $30.00 or $110.00 for a full 96 well screen.
Additive screens may incur a slightly higher cost.

 Optimization screen costs as made by the Alchemist II - 1 mL of each condition.
96 condition screen in a 96 well block - $50.00.
24 condition screen in a 24 well crystallization tray - $25.00.

X-ray Lab Fees

  Charge for crystal screening/data collection is $12.00/hour for generator time for University of Oklahoma research groups. 
 Users from academic institutions outside of OU and users from non-academic, non-profit organizations will be charged $12.00/hour these rates plus a 50% overhead charge. 

Defrayal of user fees is available through the Oklahoma Center for Biomedical Research in Structural Biology (OCSB). User fee deferral form.

Terms are net due in 30 days. Unless other prior arrangements are made, lab charges will be accumulated to the end of the current month for preparation of invoices.

At this time credit/debit cards are not accepted for payment.

Fees may be waived upon approval of the Chairman of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
